I do have some 9x, 10x,and 12x I take out on the brookie streams now and then..12x + 1.1 lbs. test more than enough for them.

I usually don't use lighter then 5xunless the brookies aren't hitting.
For larger streams it's larger tippet.

I use tipper in the 2lb range be it fly fishing or spinning tackle.

Sandfly, We are staying in a cottage on Pine Creek about a mile from Slate Run and Wolfe's, as I understand my directions. Think it is called Sleepy Bear Cottage. I intend to do a bit of recon for a fishing camp while in the area. Need an escape from these brutal Florida summers. Max
