Anyone have experience on this creek? I have been exploring a little bit and have caught quite a few stockies in the lower sections and have caught two brooke trout that were definately natives. It just seems like Im fishing some great water and seeing no signs of fish farther up the creek. Im not asking for someone to give up their honey hole, just some advice on areas to fish/ flies that have worked for them in the past.

I've had good fishing there. I recommend just fishing the state forest property.

The lower ends of the creek are messed up. Too much floodplain development, too much channelization.

The "mountain stream" fishing will get much better once the water gets a little wamer. Early spring is not really prime time on these streams. Usually about mid-May on they get much better.

thanks troutbert, I haven't explored the upper end too much, thats my goal for this spring.
