Mettawee river

Has anyone fished the upper Mettawee river in Dorset Vt . I will be up that way in the middle of October and would like to know if anyone has some advice on some tribs to fish in the area. Any advise would be appreciated. Thank you

A buddy of mine lives across the street from and regularly fishes the Mettawee further north in NY near Granville. It sounds like he's mostly getting bass this time of year. I don't know anything about down by Dorset though, so I'm probably just wasting your time!

Check the seasons, much of VT. trout fishing is shut down at the end of September.
