Thinking of travelling to the Little J tomorrow early in the day to beat the storm front approaching. Fished it one other time about a month ago and loved it! Fished the area about a mile or so above Spruce Creek and tomorrow would like to fish in the state forest area above Barree.

Checked the water tables and it seems fishable. Any advice on location, water conditions, flies....really appreciate it. I live in Latrobe so it's not a short drive. And just recovered from Carpal Tunnel surgery coupled with a bad fall and I need a "fix" bad!

Thanks everyone.

Check the Little Juniata River Association's website. Thermal stress of the trout you catch and release might be an issue.

I wouldnt fish it till after the cold front passes. I talked to Allan at SCO and he said it was 70 in the morning and 76 in the evening behind his shop yesterday. Overnight lows are the deciding factor for water temps and they have been in the upper 70's all of this week. not good.

Thanks guys. Ill wait until things cool down. You saved me a long drive.
