I am heading up to Sullivan County next week for Turkey hunting and plan to fish the DHALO on the Loyalsock for the first time ever. I see that it is now a Keystone Select section.

Anybody care to comment on how it is fishing?

Any decent hatches occurring there?

haven't fished that particular section of the sock yet this year, but theres a lot of good water up in that area both on the loyalsock and in many of the tribs.

I've almost hit turkeys in Sullivan County for the last four weeks. You should do fine.

The DHALO section (Sandy Bottom) should have quite a few flyguys in the next few weeks. There's lots of water to explore from Forksville all the way to Hillsgrove too.

I haven't fished sandy bottom for about two weeks, but have caught a lot of nice trout there this year. I fished at worlds end state park this past Sunday and caught quite a few nymphing, even picked up a couple wild browns. March browns will likely be started by then if they haven't already. The caddis swarms have been appearing on Lycoming all week and that's not far from there...
