Just moved to mohnton area in Berks county. Could anyone tell me about Angelica creek. It runs through nolde state forest. I read mohnton fish and game stocks it and there are some wild trout too. Can't find much info other than that. Anyone know where they stock or a good place to start?

I fished it once in that stretch. Took a skunk in low/clear conditions. Spooked a Trout or two into rootballs or logjams but the stretch suffered from siltation and general poor habitat as I recall. There's fish there though.

Been there once.. as swattie mentioned, small & very silty.. I wonder if Angelica in the nolde state forest is cool enough for wild trout? I didn't catch any fish, spooked a few, may have been stocked trout or suckers

Class B from 724 downstream. There is posted property below Ken-Grill Pool. Actually the area from 724 upstream through Nolde Forest has the least desirable water, but there are wild fish there.

Wyomissing Creek might be a better option.
