yeah my wife sent me that video a week or two ago, hard to believe that an animal can effect geography but it makes sense - reintroduce wolves, they feed on deer, deer don't browse on the stream banks, stream gets more shade, banks improve, stream runs faster and colder, meanders more, bigger riffles....

take Cattle out of Amish Country and i think it may happen there too.

it just shows how small changes effect the entire biosystem.

NPR had a web based show on the same sub just a few years ago, so the study is ongoing.
