I am sure many of you must have took the action and sent out the message to the President. Just so if you have not done so yet. Below is the link:

Bristol bay is certainly one of the most beautiful and special places in the world to say the least. Please do not let the human's greediness destroys it.

This is the old Pebble Mine controversy that has been around for years.

If you're not familiar with the Pebble Mine issue.... the short version is that there's been a proposal for some years to open a very large mining project - I believe foreign owned and mining for precious metals - that threatens Bristol Bay, an enormous salmon fishery and delicate ecosystem in Alaska. The link above will allow you to send an email to the feds opposing this project.
