Glad the PFBC is being vigilant..

Not really, two years later? Sounds like things could have been saved with a little more vigilance, how did no one notice for two years there was no water?

No one noticed because it was a secret stream. Probably posted.

“Montage Mountain has and always will operate in a responsible manner with respect to the community and the environment.”

Yeah except when they are destroying entire sections of streams.

$72,000 seems awfully inexpensive for 670 gallons of water per minute for 810 days. The resort should be charged for retail price for every gallon to start. Then they should be charged how many ever millions it takes to restore the stream to it's previous state ASAP.

Did they leave a zero out of that settlement?

Hopefully it ends well

Interesting that the stream has brookies in the section between the reservoir that is north of the ski area and back upstream toward lake scranton... this stream section is mostly in a large pinchot state forest tract but with limited access.. never figured out how to get in there and thought it might be too warm for trout given flow from Lake scranton.
