IMPORTANT - Sorry for the late notice but….
The comment period on DEP's draft technical guidance documents that implement Act 162 of 2014 (Riparian Buffer Bill) closes TODAY. Write a letter to DEP in support of maintaining the integrity of Riparian Buffer areas on Pennsylvania Streams. The construction industry is lobbying heavily to have the Riparian Buffer law and corresponding regulations limited to allow development closer to the stream.
The comment period is closing on DEP's draft technical guidance documents that implement Act 162 of 2014 (Riparian Buffer Bill) DEP's draft technical guidance documents appear to limit land development in Exceptional Value and High Quality waterways and the construction industry is working to remove the restriction in the document. Fly fishermen need to get involved.
It takes five minutes to go on record with DEP and help support the standards being imposed.
