Ok guys I am heading out fishing Saturday and only taking the fly rod no spinning rod this time. Need a good spot for a beginner. Some place with easy access and easy to fish. Some place that may have a high success rate to keep me interested. Only have a few hours to fish though, got lucky and was a able to get that much. Any suggestions please with locations?

The same places that you've found success with your spinning rod.

You know those places, and know how to catch the fish there. Now, just go catch them with the fly rod. Going somewhere totally new to you will lower your probability of success most of the time.

All the places I went to with the spinning rod get to warm for trout over the summer. So have no trout now. Never been much of a fall fisherman this time of year you would normally find me in the woods after deer and bear

Check the fall stocking list they may stock your streams in the fall also.

They did like 2 months ago and that is a small lake. Looking for a small stream
