I know Bucks TU is involved with it but I never fished it. I pass it quite often on 263 and have never seen anyone on it.

Stagger & Jimbo.

I am in Bucks County as well, Live right below Doylestown.

There is a stretch of the Neshaminy Creek not that the fishing is great but if you guys ever want to get together on the water and do some practicing let me know..

Also if you guys are up for a road trip there is good fishing at LL or Valley Creek.

Hi folks. I apologize if this is a thread hijack.

I live in Buckingham PA, and am a re-beginner (it's been 20 years) fly fisherman interested in trying my hand locally. I have fished everywhere from northern Canada down into S.America, so I'm fairly experienced, but not with flies.

I see a lot of activity at Walker Creek (is that what it is?) under Rte. 263, and understand that the Neshaminy in Tyler Park and the canal are options. If you had to rank them, where would you go? Would I be better off heading up to Saucon Park?

My brother-in-law, and experienced fly fisherman, is coming up from Richmond in a couple of weeks, and I'd like to at least take him to some place reasonable.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks.

Did a little "scoping out" yesterday - the Neshaminy under 263 - and from the old bridge I could see fish holding in a number of places. The few fishermen there were using spinning gear, some with worms, but there was one fly fisher upstream.

Ray, how was the stream level? In the past week I checked out (but did not fish) the Pennypack and the Tohicken. The stream levels were so low it did not appear fish could navigate riffiles. How can stockies disperse with such low water levels?
