What flies, will you guys be tying on the first day, and have they worked for you in the past, also note how cold it was, I know last year was icy.

Beadhead PT
Soft Hackle
And on top, a bright stimmie so I don't have to use an indicator. Of course, if the wind is up, that changes.
Those will be what I will start with. If they aren't working I'll switch in a wooly bugger and even the much maligned green weenie.

If I go out the first day, I will use a wolly bugger and if I nymph, I will use a frenchie. The green weenie is also a good choice.

Be out there using eggs, BH greeen caddis and BH pheasant tail and white minnows.
