The fish were hard to come by but Jack (lv2nymph) managed to figure out just how much Tungsten he needed to dredge this brownie out of the depths of the murky Spring Creek.

The first picture is of Maurice showing off his catch on Saturday night. Notice the way he gently handles it without applying too much pressure.

The second picture is of the new stream the weather created behind our tent area in the campground Friday moring after the strom.

Wow you actually fished that? I am sure there were monsters in there.

Those trees are 24" thick.

I've caught 7-10 inchers in streams that small. Well, normally that small. If that represents flood stage, it may not be a permanent stream.

they're in there. I just couldn't seem to get at 'em with my 10' 7wt, 18' leader, 3 streamer loch style rig.

10 base points, 1pt technology bonus (graphite), no points for the leader (you only get a bonus point if its 20'). The Ruling Board is currently discussing point bonuses for multiple fly rigs.

So, you're 11 points up.

Come on now you are just being silly. Kinda like wasting your time on a stream like that. I am sure your glass rod and giant beard and can of PBR approved though.

Lol you know I am just busting balls.

Turkey obviously knows anything over 22ft leader is illegal. Have to be fishing a 11ft rod though. 20ft leader 10ft rod. Turkey reads enough of my blah to know I prefer an 18ft leader. 5 points for knowing his prey.

You are incorrect. The rules are very solid on this matter. 20' = 1pt.

Wrong thread ladies...jam pics or ST$&@#Up!

Wow - those are some beautiful stream pics!

Speaking as one with no skill at all in capturing landscape (especially streams and rivers) on film, I'm always impressed to see some of the photos posted here on PAFF.

I was fortunate to meet a couple of you guys on the water this Sunday at Fisherman's Paradise. Although they were a little hungover, they gave me a ton of tips and even some of their own flies. Thanks guys.

Did they blaze?
