In conjunction with Trout Unlimited and ORVIS, Fly Fishers Paradise will sponsor a Flyfishing 101 seminar each Saturday morning in July from 10 AM-1PM. This will consist of a casting lesson as well as a knot-tying/rigging lesson, free of charge. Participants will be also get a free one-year trial membership in TU and a $15 ORVIS gift certificate.

Is TU getting a donation from this, or just tagging along? I do know they get a lot from Orvis through Orvis' conservation program, but just wondering if the local chapter is involved or just National?

Looks like a TU National program in cooperation with Orvis.

Congrats to Flyfishers Paradise, TU, and Orvis for organizing this. It sounds like a great opportunity for people getting into flyfishing. If you live within reasonable distance, I encourage you to go for it. You'll learn a lot from people who really know their stuff.

Yup, the folks at FFP can/will help you a lot.

Also the PFBC has free FFing 101 classes for the whole family. Check out the calendar:
