How about you were guiding the upper section? They shut off the water. You and the clients sit in the boat on a pile of wet rocks that once was a river. I'd charge extra since you don't get to see that every day.

Phil, I'm up until the 11th. And so too are some others. IDK if Krayfish is staying until Sunday. I believe that's Mother's day. I need to be home for that occasion.

By the way, whats the skinny on the "Apple Caddis"? Isn't it something we could see. Its the same genus as a "Grannom" no?

I'm guessing Josh will be out Thursday. I should be good through Saturday the 11th. I think Tom is in for the whole week too.

We should see black, tan & apple green caddis all in 14 & 16. Also...Hendrickson adults / spinners and olives. Josh is holding out that we'll see the start off the march brown hatch buy I think we will be a few days early.

Tom's up there right now and this weather has me thinking that he's absolutely killing it. For me, the count down has officially started. I'm leaving Saturday morning at 5 and meeting Tom at Catskill Flies around 8:30. Back to the Capra to offload 500 lbs of crap and a dog. Heading to the river for Tom's maiden toon lesson. Hoping to have some good pics / stories when we roll in around dark.

Guessing we'll come back to find Josh, Dave's, Brandon, alby & bruno on the porch. Looks to be weather taking a turn for the worse...aka sunny.

I'm counting it down too. (AND loading it up!) I hope to be on the road by 6AM Sat. Prolly make Hancock around noontime. I gotta drop off the boat, then I intend to be Arsehole deep in the West for the evening.

If you want us to wait for you, we will. I know there's a sh*tload of stuff to unload / organize. Don't want you to feel rushed. I think Josh should be there by 3:30-4. I'll probably start the loading process tonight if the rain stops. I got to get that pork roast cooking.

You good with Sunday's float on lower section? It uncharted territory for me and hopefully less crowded.

Naw, you guys go scout it out. I'll stop in SC to say hi to Steve. Check out the short skirts on I81, Do a visual once over on the lower river, maybe stop by Lydia's for a beer. (You know they have GARLIC wings!) I'm not gonna hold you guys up. I'm pretty happy just to wade fish the first evening. I'll have a cold one ready for you guys when you get done floating. This week is gonna be awesome! I even put the right size line on the rods and everything!

I forgot about that! I'm guessing that rod will cast a little better with the right line on it. :)

I have an order placed that will cost me big time, I'm to snag $50 worth for Josh and I can do the same for you. How's your fix on caddis pupa, rusty spinners or cripples in general? Based on sulphur thread in the general forum, it's very possible we'll see march browns. You have any emergers for them?

skybay, NickR or anyone else that was in need of a room..... Ines just called me. They had someone cancel a reservation and she will hold it for us (24-48 hours). If nobody calls to book, it's going back on the auction block.

I just found out who's booked in the second half of the motel (not counting PAFF guys). Rob from "Rob's realistic flies"... Big Frank and another guide that's also a hoot. Someone needs to keep a video rolling at all times.....should be some hilarious footage.
